Coffee after 9pm
It’s 9:07pm. Most coffee bars are winding down, but you’re not. Finding late-night caffeine is less about lists — and more about who’s still open.
It’s 9:07pm. Normal people are winding down.
You are looking for coffee.
We have questions, but no judgement.
The problem with late-night specialty coffee
Much of Singapore’s specialty-coffee world operates on remarkably sensible hours.
Many coffee bars are built around the morning and afternoon crowd. Some CBD outlets disappear around the time office workers do.
After 9pm, therefore, the question changes.
You’re no longer asking: “Where’s a nice café?”
You’re asking: “Who is still willing to caffeinate me?”

Opening hours beat giant café lists
This is where current opening-hours data becomes more useful than another article containing 50 cafés.
A wonderful coffee shop that closed four hours ago is not particularly useful when you need caffeine now.
Some chain cafés and cafés in shopping centres stay open substantially later than specialist daytime coffee bars.
And Singapore being Singapore, there are airport options for those whose relationship with sleep has completely broken down.
The better answer is not an article
Ultimately, Caffeine.sg shouldn’t answer this question with a static list.
It should answer it with a button:
OPEN NOW.
At 2pm it should show one set of places.
At 9:30pm, another.
At 1:17am… well.
We don’t need to know why you’re awake.
We just need to know where the caffeine is.
Sleep is temporary. Opening hours are data.
